FASTRON introduces the 1812CMF/E, a new common mode choke designed for 100BASE-T1 Ethernet data communication in chip inductor package size 1812 (4.7 x 3.4 x 2.85mm).
The 1812CMF/E consists of two copper wire coils wrapped around a ferrite core. A ferrite plate on top of the core creates a closed magnetic circuit and facilitates automated pick-and-place assembly. The inductance of the 1812CMF/E-201X is 200µH, with a typical impedance of 10kΩ. The DCR of this choke is 4.5Ω and the rated current is 200mA. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 10MΩ.
The primary application of the 1812CMF/E-201X is signal filtering and noise suppression for data communication in accordance with the 100BASE-T1 Ethernet standard.
The operational temperature range for the 1812CMF/E-201X is -40°C to +105°C, including self-heating. The 1812CMF/E is suitable for lead-free soldering, compliant with RoHS standards, and qualified under AEC-Q200.
