FASTRON is expanding its pin type coil inductors with the new 07HCPLP resp. 07HCPLP/T inductors, a series of drum core chokes available with or without tube.
The structure of 07HCPLP (/T) is similar to the million sold 07HCP chokes from FASTRON, but in contrast to this series the 07HCPLP (/T) has a lower core height of max. 8mm. To ensure a right-angle alignment, the low profile chokes also use a ferrite core with stands that is wound with enameled copper wire. The new 07HCPLP (/T) are available with inductance values from 1.5µH to 15000µH. Operational temperature of the chokes is -55°C to 150°C resp. -55°C to 125°C for the tube version, with temperatures including the inductor’s self-heating.
The chokes are available either in loose package (-50) or in tape & reel (-51) in quantities of 500pcs each.
The 07HCPLP resp. the 07HCPLP/T are certified according to AEC-Q200, RoHS compliant and suitable for lead-free soldering.
Applications for the 07HCPLP (/T) are in many areas, such as household appliances as well as in the industrial, automation, automotive and lighting sectors. Possible applications include use as an EMC- filter, as an antenna for data transmission and also for voltage adjustments in the power management area.
